Pool Filter
Cleaning

Restore your pool's circulation and water clarity. We perform comprehensive deep cleans and teardowns for Cartridge, D.E., and Sand filters.

The Heart of Your Pool

A Dirty Filter Means a Dirty Pool

Your filter is the kidney of your pool system. When it becomes clogged with dirt, body oils, and dead algae, your water pressure skyrockets and circulation drops to a trickle. No amount of chemicals can keep a pool clear if the water isn't flowing.

Many homeowners wait until their pool turns cloudy to clean the filter. To maintain perfect water clarity and prevent expensive pump motor burnouts, your filter must be fully disassembled and deep-cleaned every 3 to 6 months, depending on the season and your pool's bather load.

  • Lowers system pressure & saves electricity
  • Prevents costly premature pump failure
  • Dramatically improves water clarity
  • Removes trapped bacteria and algae spores
Professional filter cleaning

Comprehensive Maintenance

Cartridge Filter Deep Wash

We completely remove all cartridges and use high-pressure, specialized nozzles to blast away packed dirt, oils, and algae from deep within the pleats, restoring maximum flow rate.

DE Filter Teardown

D.E. filters require complex maintenance. We disassemble the entire manifold, inspect every grid for tears, wash them thoroughly, and recharge the system with the exact right amount of fresh D.E. powder.

Sand Filter Services

Over time, sand channels and loses its sharp edges, becoming ineffective. We provide routine heavy backwashing, and every 3-5 years, complete sand extraction and replacement.

O-Ring Lubrication

A dry, cracked O-ring is the #1 cause of filter air leaks. During every teardown, we thoroughly clean the filter tank O-ring, inspect for damage, and generously lubricate it with Teflon pool lube.

Manifold & Core Inspection

Cracked manifolds let dirty water bypass the filter entirely. We meticulously inspect the internal plastic structures for micro-fractures and replace broken components immediately.

Pressure Gauge Calibration

Your pressure gauge is the only way to know when the filter needs cleaning again. We ensure your gauge is reading accurately and replace broken or sun-faded gauges.

Restore Maximum Flow

When filter pleats get packed with organic matter and silt, water cannot pass through efficiently. Our high-pressure cleaning completely flushes the micro-pores of the filter fabric. The result is a filter that looks—and performs—like it's brand new.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions from our neighbors in the Antelope Valley.

Cartridge filters should be disassembled and deep-cleaned every 3 to 6 months, while DE filters require backwashing and new powder roughly once a month, with a full tear-down twice a year.
If your pool water looks cloudy, your pump sounds louder than usual, or the pressure gauge on the filter tank reads 8–10 PSI higher than its clean starting pressure, it is time for a cleaning.
A full tear-down means we completely disassemble the filter housing, remove the internal grids or cartridges, degrease and acid-wash them to remove embedded oils and scale, inspect the manifolds for cracks, and re-lubricate the O-rings.
Yes. A clogged filter creates immense back-pressure on your plumbing. This forces the pump motor to work exponentially harder, which can overheat the motor and lead to premature failure.
